International “it girl” (with a CAPITAL “i” IT) Alexa Chung launched her namesake fashion brand’s first collection mere MINUTES (ok, HOURS) ago. And I’m soooooOOOOoooOoOoOOOo excited, people!!! If you haven’t ever used Alexa as outfit #inspo, then just stop reading now.
JK JK JK. Don’t leave me! Pretty please!
But if you tell me Kendall Jenner is an “it girl,” I’ll raise you Alexa and politely ask you to name a more savvy and stylish muse who ALSO has a sense of humor and incredible hair? Hint: there is no other walking the earth in 2017. She is everything from classic British to Parisian chic with a hint of New York edge. And it appears that her label, ALEXACHUNG, is also just that. (DUrrr duuh dur)
In case you’re still recovering from the long weekend, here’s a quick snapshot of five pieces from ALEXACHUNG that I’d luuuuhhvvv to own asap. Ready, set, GO.
The Zip Front Corset, because there’s never been such a thing as toooo much denim and I’d do just that — wear it with jeans, probably a denim jacket on top, and denim slides. (I’m kidding about the slides. Unless they were Brother Vellies. Then I’m not joking. But see next point.)
The Frill Trim Dress seems like appropro attire for any dinner I wish attend while simultaneously ignoring any dress code suggestions. Casual or formal, you got me covered Alexa (not to be confused with Amazon’s personal assistant/digital spy). Would 12/10 recommend wearing with the above red heels, too.
The Colour Block Cardigan is *lit-erally* composed of my favOURite colOUR combination. I already claimed red as my color en ce moment, and pink is always closely tied for first. Anyways, I think I need a new sweater to use as a scarf, right?
The Zip Front Dungarees, which when translated means the overalls Alexa Chung has graciously blessed us with, are everything I aim to be this summer. High waisted. Flared, but also not. A zip front to be “extra.” I’d wear these with a white tee, or no tee actually. And also with those red platforms (they really go with everything !!!).
AM I ALEXA YET? Lmk.
